Guinea to Southern Sudan, W. Kenya and NW Tanzania.


Pollinator: Allotriozoon prodigiosum Grandi.


Forest, often riverine forest, up to 1600m, often planted.

Non-pollinator: Philocaenus cavus van Noort.
