Distribution

Gabon and southern Central African Republic to Uganda, northern Zambia and northern Angola.

Biology

Pollinator: Alfonsiella fimbriata Waterston

Habitat

Forest, usually along rivers or shores of lakes, rarely in savanna woodland up to an altitude of 1800m (Berg 1992). In Zambia the species occurs in woodland and is often associated with termite mounds (Burrows & Burrows 2003)
