Nigeriella fusciceps Wiebes 1974. Holotype in National Natural History Museum, Leiden. Type locality: Nigeria

Mandible and mandibular appendage. 

Distribution

Nigeria, but probably present throughout the range of the northern population of the host fig (lighter colour). Southern population is pollinated by a different species: Elisabethiella comptoni Wiebes.

Biology

Host fig: Ficus abutilifolia (Miq.) Miq.
