Recorded from Senegal, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, Swaziland, Comores Is., Seychelles Is., Aldabra Is. and Madagascar, but probably present throughout the range of the host fig (light green areas)
