Platyscapa awekei Wiebes 1977. Holotype in NCB Naturalis (formerly Rijksmuseum van Natuurlijke Historie - RMNH). Type locality: Ethiopa.

Distribution

Ethiopia, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Yemen.

Biology

Pollinator of the host fig: Ficus salicifolia Vahl.
