Distribution

Distribution_of_Ficus_palmata

Ethiopia through southern Arabia to Nepal and Sri Lanka.

Biology

Pollinator: Blastophaga psenes (Linnaeus, 1758).

Habitat

Thickets along watercourses, between altitudes of 1700 and 2400m.

Comments

Very closely related to Ficus carica.
