Comptoniella vannoorti Wiebes ovipositing through fig wall.
South west South Africa, through Namibia to south western Angola.
Pollinator: Platyscapa desertorum Compton.
Non-pollinator: Comptoniella vannoorti Wiebes.
Arid habitats in Fynbos, Succulent Karoo and Nama Karoo. Almost always growing on rock outcrops or cliff faces, at altitudes up to 1500m.
