Distribution

Restricted to south-eastern areas of South Africa and extreme southern part of Mozambique.

Biology

Pollinator: Elisabethiella baijnathi Wiebes.

Habitat

 

 

Coastal forest (strangler growth form), coastal dunes (on sand, exhibiting salt tolerance), or thicket & savanna (where the species is usually associated with rocky outcrops or cliffs, often a "rock-splitter", growing as a shrub or small tree).
