Distribution

Distribution_of_Ficus_umbellata

Senegal to Central African Republic and south to NW Angola, at low altitudes.

Biology

Pollinator: Courtella medleri (Wiebes).

Habitat

Lowland rainforest, gallery forest and savanna woodland.

Comments

Can be confused with F. polita and F. bubu, but neither of these species have the undulating (wavy) leaf margin characteristic of F. umbellata.
