Senegal to Uganda and northern Angola; Coastal Kenya, Tanzania, Mozambique & South Africa (Kwazulu-Natal); Madagascar.

Biology

Pollinator: Courtella bekiliensis bekiliensis (Risbec) (Madagascar);

Courtella bekiliensis bispinosa (Wiebes) African continent.

Habitat

Lowland rainforest and gallery forest (west and central Africa), coastal & dry forest (east and southern Africa), up to an altitude of 1200m.
