Biological form

tree up to 25 m tall, hemi-epiphytic or often terrestrial

Leaves

shape & colour

elliptic to oblong, coriaceous, apex shortly acuminate to rounded, base obtuse to rounded, both surfaces glabrous

 

size

12-30 x 6-23 cm

 

lateral veins

6-8 pairs, often furcate far from the margin

 

petiole

4-11 cm long, glabrous

Stipules

0.3-0.5 cm long, glabrous or partly puberulous, caducous
